On Wednesday, we're driving over to the coast to see the beautiful little Delilah. On Tuesday, I baked bread to take her parents. When the bread came out of the oven, we went for a walk and saw the fall colors through the trees.
It's been a BEAUTIFUL FALL here too....leaves on trees weeks longer than normal, dry, mostly bright, even "experts" are discussing the intense coloring of the leaves because of the fertile summer.... (all coming to and end next week as a forecast WET, November rainy period begins)...EVERY WALK in Forest Park is treasured and nature sitings oohed and aaahed at....
It all comes down to basics, doesn't it? Fresh bread and walking through the woods. I love the trees. Have a safe trip. I don't need to mention enjoy little Delilah.
Seems you have a sizable charge of the basic pleasures covered.....well done.
But then I have noticed from reading your blog these several years, that you folks always seem to find the good in something. Wish more of us were like that.
