What marvelous birds; we've ahd some Western Jays raucousing around the front of our house, digging into the flower boxes and throwing the dirt around. Hope this winter storm isn't an ordeal for you guys.
love the bird festival at your house! can you believe we have never seen a western bluebird anywhere we have been? when i told you about our eagle absence they came to us at once, so maybe now that i have shared this the bluebirds will appear to us as well! :)
did the snow come? hoping you guys are enjoying a landscape of freshly fallen snow, white and serene. imagining a perfect, white cover of snow except for the prints the animals have left and your prints, robin, as you follow with the camera! :) looking forward to seeing your wonderland.
Aren't those Pileated Woodpeckers incredible. They are so big. Lucky you to have some Blue Birds. The English Sparrows have all but eliminated them in my area. I am so excited for you and the impending snow. Please take pictures.
The Plieated Woodpecker is magnificent. All the feathered ones are busy now and so wonderful to watch. My experience with the Ceder Wax Wings eating wild plum blossoms the other day blew m,y mind. How Beautiful is Spring, always a thrilling time of year.
6 to 10 inches sounds like enough to be an adventure, but not so much that it will create a terrible hardship. So, yay! We haven't had even one inch this year, which makes this teacher very sad:)

I love your bird shots. We have several of these birds here....except the Pileated Woodpecker. Hope you get that fun weather pattern:)

Just beautiful. No sign of spring here yet. 118 inches of snow so far this season and still coming down. Happy WW!
