a veritable cathedral on a leaf...beautiful. Do you suppose this is what the stained glass artists and other creatives are trying so hard to replicate?
I have thought about how it might be to leave behind the artwork of humans and to decorate only with objects from the natural world. Not woven or carved, but as they are found. So simple and everything to return to the earth when we die. Nothing for one's heirs to squabble over.
A former ant-lion, no?
ReplyDeleteYes, a neuroptera (antlions and lacewings).
ReplyDeleteNice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
