Might be a yellow warbler (though i've never been very good at IDs from photos). Did you also look at the orange-crowned warbler? The one photo seems to have a very faint orange stripe atop its head, as though it's a juvie bird soon to be molting into adult plumage

ReplyDeleteexquisite
ReplyDeleteLovely little warbler. It looks a lot like our Pine Warbler but I don't think it's range is around you. I'd bet on Yellow Warbler.
ReplyDeleteUm, it is yellow.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that second shot.
Hey, thanks for the sweet words on Emma's birthday post.
I know you have been a fan for a long time.
:)
I'm like FC and adore that second shot.
ReplyDeleteI really need to get over to visit him.
Such a sweet bird. Such as lovely green plant. Thank you so much for this photo today.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo is an exquisite composition.
ReplyDeleteMy field guide to eastern birds has a page devoted to "confusing fall warblers." Personally, I think they are confusing year 'round!
