Aren't they just perfection? So glad mom and the twins are well away from the fires. How often we forget the non-human victims of such disasters.
My Louisiana friends in animal rescue really got slammed. Dogs dumped at the pound before the storm hit, animals left outside during the hurricane, shelters destroyed. Then the sweet, sweet photo of the rescue guy carrying a fawn to safety. There's goodness in humans--if only we knew how to bring it out in everyone.
Thank you for this lovely photo of future hope. May those two little ones grow up strong.
