Cindy Sheehan's Battle for Answers

The first time we heard Cindy Sheehan's name was when she testified before the Downing Street Memo hearings on June 16th. She was memorably compelling and and commanding. She came to talk about the death of her son Casey in Sadr City, Iraq.
Casey's death has now sent her on a personal mission and trajectory to the doorstep of President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas. What was personal has become front-page political, and what she is asking for is a moment of the President's time to ask why her son died.
This seems like a reasonable request, however, the president has refused to meet with her, and there is some reporting that Cindy Sheehan has been apprised that unless she leaves the ranch, she will be arrested on Thursday for becoming a threat to national security.
We think it is time for the President to accord Ms. Sheehan the respect and honor that the mother of a fallen soldier deserves. No more hiding from your deeds, W, Cindy Sheehan would like to have a word with you.
